Uber expanded its partnership with OpenAI by rolling out ChatGPT Work to more than 30,000 employees company-wide. The coverage says this follows an earlier pilot involving about 1,000 people and is intended to support internal tasks such as research, data analysis, and workflow automation.

The biggest thread today is agents moving from novelty to infrastructure—then immediately colliding with the messy parts of access control, speed, and governance. 1Password launched 1Password for Agents, letting authorized AI agents sign into personal accounts without ever seeing your password, which is a practical answer to a problem every enterprise AI rollout discovers the hard way. OpenAI pushed the same “decision layer” forward with its Decisions API decision model, now widely available, targeting 100–180 milliseconds latency—fast enough to slot into workflows that can’t wait for an entire chat model to think. And the plumbing around all of this continues to get standardized: the Agentic AI Foundation received the Agent Skills open standard, with more than 70 agent platforms integrating since December 2025, totaling nearly 280 million installations and 1 million published skills.
