Simon Willison released LLM 0.32, a major update to his command-line tool for interacting with language models, adding support for visible reasoning traces, server-side tools from OpenAI and Anthropic, and a new streaming events API for Python. The accompanying llm-anthropic 0.26 plugin adds support for Claude 5 models (Fable, Sonnet, Opus) with simplified extended thinking and server-side tools including WebSearch, WebFetch, and CodeExecution.
