Meta announced the Meta Enterprise Platform, a new business unit offering its AI models, agents, and related infrastructure as a bundled service for businesses and developers. Coverage also reports that Meta is hiring Chirantan “CJ” Desai, MongoDB’s CEO, to lead the initiative and plans large capital expenditures focused largely on AI data centers.

Meta rolled out the Meta Enterprise Platform, appointing MongoDB CEO Chirantan “CJ” Desai to lead a push to sell models, agents, and infrastructure as a bundled offering. Meta also signaled the scale of its own appetite for compute, budgeting $130 billion to $145 billion in AI data-center capital expenditures this year. The same day, AWS showed how that stack can be operationalized quickly: vLLM-Omni on SageMaker AI can stream Qwen3-TTS voice back while it’s generating it, and FLUX.2-klein-4B plus Wan2.1-VACE-1.3B can return a PNG instantly before queuing an MP4 via S3.
