Jane Street invests in Etched
Funding Provisional 98% confidence first seen
Etched raised $700 million in a funding round led by Jane Street at a $21 billion valuation, doubling its value from $10.3 billion in July. Jane Street not only led the investment but also became Etched's first production customer by operating its own rack within the company. The round included participation from returning investors Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Tiger Global, and others, with Kleiner Perkins joining as a new investor.
