Anthropic announced Enterprise Frontier Safeguards (EFS), an approach intended to combine customer-controlled zero data retention with automated misuse detection for frontier models. The program will begin with an interim zero data retention period for Fable 5 and Fable 5.1 and then roll out EFS in phases, with customer rollout scheduled to begin later this fall.
