Amazon announced that its Bedrock AgentCore Payments service is now generally available. The service allows AI agents to transact for paywalled APIs and content autonomously using supported payment protocols (including x402) with configurable spending limits and audit logging, and it was demonstrated via an OpenClaw integration handling an HTTP 402 paywall.
