OpenAI is discontinuing ChatGPT access through WhatsApp on January 15, 2026. Users currently relying on the WhatsApp integration will lose this method of accessing the chatbot after that date. The company is directing users to link their ChatGPT accounts directly and migrate their conversations to other platforms where the service remains available.
Together AI expanded its model library to include 40+ image and video generation models from providers like OpenAI Sora 2, Google Veo 3.0, and ByteDance SeeDream, accessible through unified APIs. The platform now supports video generation up to 30 seconds across multiple resolutions and styles, with the same OpenAI-compatible endpoints and authentication used for text generation. Developers can now build complete multimodal applications combining text, image, and video generation without managing separate providers or integrations.
OpenAI launched ChatGPT Atlas, a web browser that integrates ChatGPT directly into the browsing experience. The browser is currently available for macOS. Users can access ChatGPT features like instant answers and page summaries without leaving their browser, with user-controlled privacy settings.
