Announcing the initial People-First AI Fund grantees

The OpenAI Foundation awarded $40.5 million in unrestricted grants to 208 nonprofits through its People-First AI Fund. The average grant size was approximately $194,700 per organization. These nonprofits can now direct funding toward community-based projects that incorporate AI technology into their existing work.
