ChatGPT's image generation capability has been upgraded with a faster, more capable model that improves editing precision and detail consistency. The new model generates images up to 4 times faster than the previous version and is available to all ChatGPT users starting today. Users can now create and edit images more quickly within ChatGPT, and developers can access the improved model through the API as GPT-Image-1.5.
