Introducing IndQA

OpenAI released IndQA, a benchmark designed to evaluate how well AI systems perform on questions in Indian languages while demonstrating cultural understanding. The benchmark covers 12 languages and 10 knowledge domains, developed with input from domain experts. This enables more rigorous testing of AI capabilities in Indian language contexts rather than relying primarily on English-language benchmarks.
