Accelerating discovery in India through AI-powered science and education

Google DeepMind announced a National Partnership for AI with Indian government bodies and institutions to provide access to frontier AI models for scientific research and education. The partnership includes $30 million in grants through the Google.org Impact Challenge: AI for Science, support for 2 million textbooks to be converted into AI-interactive versions across 2,000 schools, and integration of AI tools like AlphaGenome and Earth AI for Indian researchers.
