Why work at the EU AI Office?
AI Act 2 years ago
The European Commission established the EU AI Office to enforce the world's first comprehensive binding AI regulation, with authority to conduct model evaluations and compel corrective actions from non-compliant providers. The office plans to grow from 60 to 140 employees by the end of 2025 and will develop codes of practice for general-purpose AI model developers by April 2025. The AI Office's enforcement powers and first-mover advantage position it to shape global AI governance standards and coordinate international cooperation on AI safety.
