XR Blocks: Accelerating AI + XR innovation

Google introduced XR Blocks, a cross-platform framework presented at ACM UIST 2025 that combines AI and extended reality to simplify building immersive intelligent applications. The framework uses modular components built on accessible technologies like WebXR, threejs, LiteRT, and Gemini to abstract away low-level sensor fusion and AI integration. Developers can now prototype AI-driven XR experiences more rapidly by focusing on user experience rather than complex underlying system integrations.
