Xuedong (X.D.) Huang is the chief technology officer at Zoom, where he leads the company's AI strategy and services. He joined Zoom in 2023 after a 30-year career at Microsoft, where he founded the company's speech technology group in 1993 and served as Azure AI Chief Technology Officer and Technical Fellow. During his time at Microsoft, he led AI teams that achieved several industry-first human parity milestones in speech recognition, machine translation, natural language understanding, and computer vision.
