YouTube clarified its monetization policies to restrict low-quality AI-generated content, categorizing inauthentic videos into three types and preventing their monetization through the YouTube Partner Program starting July 16. Simultaneously, YouTube removed approximately 130,000 channels organized into 50,000 coordinated clusters identified through pattern detection over six months, targeting content farm networks that share infrastructure and upload patterns.
