Sakana AI released Sakana Marlin, its first commercial product, an autonomous research assistant that can conduct complex business research independently for up to eight hours and generate structured reports and summary slides. The system was beta tested from April 2026 with approximately 300 professionals from financial institutions, consulting firms, and think tanks.
